Once again

Yep, I am glad it's Friday. My week involved many things as it progressed and I am glad it is behind rather than ahead. I wonder what next week will bring.

I feel for All Y'all havin A/C troubles up North. I reckon it's tuff. Down here you make sure your A/C man is your best friend.

We are having company for the weekend and I am looking forward to that.

What will it take to make a great country? Or is it?

So many questions surround the road our country is on. One more turn down the wrong fork and I fear we will be so lost that the biggest and best GPS will be able to get us on the right path. Much is little when God isn't in it.

Balancing Act

Yesterday I arrive back at work to find The hot water 20 degrees above state limit. All three balancing valves malfunction. I now know how to rebuild balancing valves. I sure am glad that no resident got burned.

FLA = Goodtimes

We had a lot of fun on our little long weekend get away. Our hosts Diane's sister and Brother in-law provided a great time with great food and fun. Getting to see all the nieces and nephews was also great fun.

Shorter work day

I will be leaving work a little early today to travel to FL. It's party time. We will go part way tonight and finish the trip tomorrow.

Interlude

Yesterdays outing took me to an organ interlude. However it had a bonus. The interlude had a violin. It was the best violin performance I have ever heard. The bow to string was as smooth as silk. You had to just close your eyes and savor every note.

Lunch Trip

Today I get to go to an organ concert and then to lunch. I believe lunch will be at a Greek cafe. The trick will be trying to stay somewhat clean and dry before I go. The humidity this week is very high.

Monday Magic

It must be magic! Here it is Monday again and I have the energy to go to work. Had fun weekend. We went on boat a boat ride, garage sale, low county boil party, cleaned the garage the shop attic and the car port. we went and bought some Georgia peaches (first of the season) and got some grass mowed. May be I don't have the energy to go to work.

Glad to see it's Friday

The week has flown by and I am still glad to see it's Friday. It's hot! low nineties now and that makes for some warm projects at work. I am looking forward to the weekend and life on the lake.

Uncharted waters

We went for a long boat ride last night. We actually went to a part of the lake that we had never been to before. When you drive old boats like we own you always wonder if you will get back. But the old tub worked great and wind in our face made for a good nights sleep.

Grandkids

I sometimes struggle for things to write about. and I notice Joyce has an endless supply of grand kid topics. For now I have to write about boats, weather and work. I guess I have about 60 grand kids. It's just that there about eighty years old. Yesterday I had a resident in assisted living ask me to call here decorator so I could make an appointment to to hang curtains and a picture. I don't think so.

Yesterday was a beautiful day until I got home. It started to rain after I got home and rained until dark. go figure! Today should be back to sunshine mixed with clouds.

Get R Done

I just about have the PMs done at work for this month. So I guess next week will be about painting. We had a number of move outs lately. I have a bus trip for lunch today and I am hoping that will make the day go by quickly.

Loss of power

We had a four hour loss of power at home yesterday. Not a big deal but, now I have to set the timer on three different transformers for outdoor lighting.

My amaryllis are flowering they are quite unique. The bloom gets so large you would think the plant would fall over.

The Wings lost, the stock market was down making yesterday a bummer. The good news is today's a new day! Sunshine and great possibilities are in store.

R A I N

Yesterday was a day of rain. We did not have the misfortune of Tennessee but we got a lot of rain. We didn't have any storm damage around our house but nearer to town had some fallen trees. Today should be back to sunshine.

New Battery and Alternator

The deckboat got a new battery and alternator this weekend. The old alternator must have been weak since I bought the boat. Now the gauges are bright as every.
