Swimming

For some reason this morning I am thinking about swimming lessons at the Metro Parks. It seems like that it was always a part of early summer. I can still see the posting of the temperatures. The water was warmer than the air many times. And I also remember getting a slow-poke after the lessons. All this was over forty years ago, so why think of it now? I also remember putting my bathing suit in a towel and rolling it up in a tight roll. These thoughts lead me to the St. Johns school picnic. Load all the school kids in the back of Punch Otters grain trucks and head to the Metro Parks. Try that today and see how far you get. Life is definitely different these days.

Today's thought:

Don't let your worries get the best of you; remember, Moses started out as a basket case.
