It's not what you think! I have been having problems with my electricity going to my work shop. It failed a while back and i tried to splice it underground. It failed again so I spliced it again and filled the junction boxes with silicon hoping to keep them dry. Apparently this did not work. and instead of shorting out the wires managed two send all 220 volts down one wire. This decided to smolder in a strip outlet in my shop. It was a metal strip and it actually melted some metal. A black spot about 2 foot around appeared on the wall and it fried my battery charger and my large outdoor light. and burnt the hair on my shop brush. Why the place did not burn down I have no clue. It would have taken our Expedition, my vacuum and all my John Deere's. As well as all my shop tools and thing in storage above.
Have a great day!
