Watch what you wish for.

I had wished that I could have had a week to go tell everyone good-bye before leaving for the new job. I wished that Diane could go also. I wished that I could finish out the Lenten services here in Michigan. Sometimes you get what you ask for. Ritz Carlton called me yesterday and rescinded my job offer. They will not say why! I would assume that seeing how I have no criminal record that it would have to have been the drug screening. However seeing how the only drugs I take are prescription drugs I can't imagine what it could be. I have never been so taken aback in all my life. Now, I have ended my employment, gave away my bed in Michigan. Said a few good-byes, And gave notice as to ending the lease on our home here in Michigan. Boxed all my clothing. Loaded one whole vehicle. Now what? I am sure that there is a life lesson here somewhere. God has open every door so far. An for some reason has closed this one. I can only pray for guidance and help in making future decisions.

I can only hope that we can look back on this someday and say boy that was the greatest thing that could have happened.
