JD rides again

I did it again, I have a new project! I checked EBay on Saturday morning after waking up and there it was an old JD 170 lawn tractor. It had a few issues but they sounded minor. The bid price was quite low for this item so I bid. I got it for half of what I paid for my other John Deere. Dad and I drove to Holland MI. to get the unit that day. It was fun just making the trip. I had it going about twenty minutes after arriving home with it. Upon inspection I realized it has a new transmission rear axle, all new belts, and new blades. that's worth a lot more than I paid for it. After mowing and sweeping the yard with it on Sunday I tore it apart to do some cosmetic enhancement. Paint & decals. Everything that the owner stated was wrong seems to be to be fixed by just making some adjustments and tightening a few parts. I got lucky again.

It was nice to have the time off but it's time to go back. Boo Hoo, Can't I just stay home and play with my new toy?
