Once again there were no beggars on Meadowbrook Ct. I did however tape a dollar bill to each ear and went outside and rang our doorbell. I got a Tootsie Pop. Diane could not identify my costume. Come on guy's! I was a buck N ear.
Ended up not loosing the basement remodel yesterday. The folks anti up an additional $4700.00 and decided to move on.
I saw on the news last night that Halloween is becoming one of the largest recognition day, if you would call it that, or observance. 6 billion dollars spent annually on Halloween. Ya with a B, Are we nuts! Who's being tricked here. The report also said that costumes are geared more for adults with a slant towards sexy. Makes me wonder how much is spent on celebrating Easter.
